How to Play Gates of Olympus POP

Gates of Olympus POP uses a 3x5 grid with no fixed paylines. Five or more matching regular symbols can pay anywhere on the screen, winning symbols tumble away, and multiplier symbols can remain active through the sequence with values up to 1,000x. How Winning Combinations Work

The grid holds 15 symbols. A normal payout begins when at least five copies of the same regular symbol land anywhere across those positions.

There is no left-to-right requirement. There is no fixed payline. Adjacency is not required either. Five matching symbols can be spread across the grid with unrelated symbols between them and still form one qualifying combination.

Regular-symbol payouts use three count bands: 5-6 symbols, 7-8 symbols and 9+ symbols. More copies of the same symbol move the win into a higher paytable band.

Scatter, Super Scatter and multiplier symbols have separate jobs. They do not behave like ordinary paytable symbols.

How Tumbles Work

A qualifying regular-symbol win does not end the round immediately.

  1. The win is calculated.
  2. The winning symbols disappear.
  3. Symbols above the empty positions drop down.
  4. New symbols enter the grid.
  5. Any new qualifying match creates another win and another tumble.
  6. The sequence ends when the fresh grid contains no new regular-symbol win.

One paid spin can produce several payouts before the tumble sequence ends.

A simple sequence might begin with five Crowns. They pay and disappear. New symbols fall into the gaps and create seven matching Rings. Those Rings also pay and disappear. If the next grid has no five-symbol match, the tumble sequence is over.

Multiplier symbols can remain active across those tumbles and are applied when the sequence ends.

Multiplier Symbols up to 1,000x

Gates of Olympus POP winning grid with an active tumble total

Multiplier symbols can land during base play and Free Spins. A single symbol can carry a value as high as 1,000x.

During the base game, an active multiplier remains on screen through consecutive tumbles from the same paid spin. If more than one multiplier is active, their values are added.

A 5x and a 10x multiplier make:

5x + 10x = 15x

They do not make 50x.

The combined multiplier is applied after the tumble sequence has finished. A multiplier without a qualifying regular-symbol win has nothing to boost, so a 100x multiplier symbol sitting on a losing grid does not create a 100x payout by itself.

How a 45x Tumble Sequence Pays

Assume one paid spin creates two regular-symbol wins:

  • first tumble win: 1x total bet;
  • second tumble win: 2x total bet;
  • active multipliers by the end of the sequence: 5x and 10x.

The regular-symbol subtotal is:

1x + 2x = 3x

The multiplier total is:

5x + 10x = 15x

The final sequence win is:

3x ร— 15 = 45x total bet

A multiplier that lands later in the sequence can still boost wins from earlier tumbles.

Free Spins: 15 Spins from 3+ Scatters

Three or more Scatters, Super Scatters, or any mixture of the two trigger 15 Free Spins.

During the feature, two or more additional Scatters add five spins. The extra spins extend the same feature; they do not begin a separate bonus round.

Scatters and Super Scatters affect the trigger differently. The total number of Scatters plus Super Scatters determines whether Free Spins trigger. The number of Super Scatters inside that triggering combination determines whether a Snap, Spark or Burst fixed award is paid.

Progressive Multiplier During Free Spins

The bonus-round multiplier does not reset after every completed tumble sequence.

When multiplier symbols land on a winning Free Spin or tumble, their values are added to a running multiplier total. That total remains active through the feature and applies to qualifying tumble wins. New multiplier values can increase it again later.

Base GameFree Spins
Multiplier values stay through the current tumble sequenceQualifying multiplier values build a running bonus total
The active total is applied when the sequence endsThe running total can remain for later Free Spins
The sequence ends and the base-game multiplier is clearedNew winning multipliers can raise the existing total

A high multiplier near the beginning of the feature can therefore affect more than one later win. It still does not guarantee that later spins will produce a qualifying payout.

Snap, Spark and Burst Super Scatter Awards

Pragmatic Play POP

The POP symbol is the Super Scatter. It counts toward the Free Spins trigger and can also award one of three fixed POP awards.

Super Scatters in a Free Spins-triggering combinationPOP award
1Snap โ€” 50x total bet
2Spark โ€” 500x total bet
3Burst โ€” 25,000x total bet

A Super Scatter awards Snap, Spark or Burst only when the same result also triggers Free Spins. One Super Scatter on its own does not trigger 15 Free Spins; the total Scatter/Super Scatter count still needs to reach at least three.

Two normal Scatters plus one Super Scatter make three trigger symbols. That opens 15 Free Spins and the single Super Scatter also produces the 50x Snap award.

One normal Scatter plus two Super Scatters also makes three trigger symbols. The feature opens and the two Super Scatters produce the 500x Spark award.

Three Super Scatters alone meet the bonus threshold and produce the 25,000x Burst award.

The POP awards are fixed stake multiples, not progressive jackpots funded by a growing pool.

Gates of Olympus POP Symbols and Paytable

Regular wins are calculated as multiples of total bet.

Regular symbol5-6 symbols7-8 symbols9+ symbols
Crown10x25x50x
Hourglass2x8x20x
Ring1x2x10x
Red Gem0.6x1.5x6x
Purple Gem0.4x1x4x
Yellow Gem0.2x0.8x2x

The Crown is the highest-paying regular symbol. A 9+ Crown combination pays 50x total bet before any active multiplier is applied.

Special symbols do not use the regular table:

Special symbolRole
ScatterCounts toward the 3+ Free Spins trigger
Super Scatter / POPCounts toward Free Spins and sets Snap/Spark/Burst award tier
MultiplierAdds a win multiplier up to 1,000x

Maximum Win: 25,000x

Gates of Olympus POP caps the total award at 25,000x total bet.

Burst pays the highest fixed POP award: 25,000x total bet. The 1,000x figure refers to the maximum value on one multiplier symbol. These two numbers describe different mechanics.

A 1,000x multiplier does not turn every spin into a 1,000x win. It needs a qualifying regular-symbol payout, and the overall game cap still applies.
